The Racquetball Club currently meets MWF at 9:30 a.m. at Rocky Top, a local sports center on Allied Blvd. (around the corner from C’Ville Coffee). Players have use of the courts (two), locker room (with showers and lockers), and weight room. Cost is $3.50 per day for single visits, or $25 per month for unlimited visits, which is a very reasonable rate. Long term members have paid a once only $25 fee for a key code which allows us to use the facility during closed hours, such as 9:30 a.m.
We play singles, doubles
and cut-throat as the numbers dictate.
New players, including those who have never played before, are
encouraged to join us. Our abilities and fitness levels vary
considerably, but we all agree that it’s a great workout.
