Meet Luther Gore the artist. Luther Gore has been painting seriously since 1976 and has exhibited locally for many years in one-man and group shows. Luther helped start the American Society of Aviation Artists and served as its Executive Secretary for 15 years. He is a member of the Central Virginia Watercolor Guild, serving as its President in 2000, a founding member of Art Upstairs, a member of the SeniorCenter’s Friday Art Group, and Co-founder of the Charlottesville Aviation Luncheon Club. Luther has had an interest in aviation since childhood. His cloud studies, such as the one shown here, have been influenced by the work of Eric Sloane. |
