Alzheimer's Caregivers Support Group
Dr.Alzheimer
was of German origin who initially excelled as a
professor of Psychology in Breslau. Later in Munich his
interest in histopathology eventually created him a giant
in this area. Together with Franz Nissl they established
the pathologic anatomy of mental illness. Alzheimer
published several treatises on cerebro arteriosclerosis
in 1904 and on Huntingtons chorea early in 1911. In
1907 appeared the monumental work on Alzheimers
Disease for which he will always be remembered.

support group for caregivers of Alzheimer's patients is
open to both Senior Center members and the general
public.
